The old rusty dangerous construction fence below is the most the school
directors will give the Nicely elementary school children for a fence, while the
school board spent millions for sports. We are concerned for the safety of the
children. Our concern is that the children will run into this old rusty fence
and become seriously injured or killed or the children will run under the wire
into the street and be hit by a car. The children deserve more.

The Greensburg Salem School Directors spent $39,000 to put a new fence around the ball field at the high school to keep balls from rolling out of the field, $23,000 for the school’s logo on the football turf, more than $100,000 for an elevator to the Press Box at the football field, and millions to refurbish the football stadium, but won’t spend $18,000 for a safer fence for the children at Robert Nicely Elementary School. This old rusty fence is very dangerous for our children and needs replaced with a safer fence. |
