Cars are very expensive, just to own one takes a toll in your pocket. If you have a car new or used it is vital that you maintain it. There is no mercy for neglecting to maintain your car because when you forget to maintain car, you have my assurance that you’ll to find your self stranded in the highway. Car maintenance are not hard to do at all, some requires you to have special tools but for the most part all you need is just basic tools. If you have money why not hire a mechanic to do it for you. This is much better because you know that your car was professionally serviced. Here I will show you the essentials for the maintenance:

- Oil Change: Your car needs this to survive, this is equivalent to your blood in your body. So doing an oil change to your car is a must. Your car wont live long without this.

- Cooling System: Cooling system includes the hose, radiator, fan, thermostat. Replacing your hoses when their cracked is too late. You should check it all the time, if the hoses are hard and unpliable then its time to replace it. Also the thermostat needs to be replace when time comes. This little device if it fails, your car will overheat.

- Brakes: Checking the brake fluid reservoir is very important. You’ll see in there if you have a sufficient amount of fluid. Also so check the brake pads and disk. If the pads are worn replace them so as the disk.

- Gearbox: check the gearboxes fluid by pulling out a small dipstick in the area of the gearbox. If the color of the fluid is pink then its good if not then you might want it flushed and replace.

- Electricals: battery is what powers your car, the alternator charges the battery and the starter starts your car. Any failures in any of the 3 components will result in your car not starting. To diagnose your alternator, when your car is running disconnect the battery and the car should keep going without it dying. Check the cables that hooks up to your battery. If its corroded you might want to replace that.

- Tune up: tuning your car is the best thing to do when your car feels a bit sluggish. Tune up consist of replacing your spark plug and its wire, o2 sensor.

- Tires: have it rotated and balance, also you should always check your tire psi. Make sure you follow the correct amount of psi you put in the tires by checking your car’s manual book.

I’m sure theres is more to check and replace in a vehicle but we just covered the surface of car maintenance. The main point in here is to take action maintaining your vehicles for the car will be in top shape and you won’t have to worry about the car breaking down.

Upon their first appearance in 1955, Thunderbird classic cars have been a favorite of both car buffs and regular folks alike. The very first Thunderbirds were compact sports cars that screamed speed, style and class. Four-seater designs didn’t evolve until the late 1960’s. Thunderbirds were only two-seaters between those times. This classic was built with a V8 engine and could reach top speeds of 110-120 miles per hour.

The Ford T-Bird, as it was affectionately called, came in many different colors, the most popular of which were apple red and pure white. They came to represent the entire 50’s decade all on their own, most certainly a turning point in American society.

But why are T-Birds considered “classic cars”? Probably because for most, they take us back to an innocent yet anxious age. A bygone era that was filled with angst not only in themselves, but being the McCarthy era, for the entire country as well.

Obtaining Thunderbird Classic Cars

So you want to know how you can get your hands on one of these classic beauties? Here are a few options:

-Car Clubs. Check to see if there is a local T-Bird club in your area. You’ll not only find out easily if someone is selling their Ford T-Bird, but you’ll also learn from others how to restore one.
-Car Auctions. Especially the vintage car auctions. Most of the cars at these auctions are usually in pristine condition. They can be held anywhere in the country so use the internet or even the car club to help locate one. There are local car auctions as well, a good place to find out about these is in the newspaper.
-The Internet. Craigslist, (look beyond your own city, if you’re willing to fly to the location, pick it up and drive it home), Ebay, other internet auction sites.

Evolution of Thunderbird Classic Cars

-Classic Birds. The earliest years, between 1955 and 1957. This era is also known as “Early Birds” and “Little Birds”
-Square Birds. Between the years 1958 and 1960. It was at this time the convertible was introduced.
-Bullet Birds. Between 1961 and 1963. Called bullet due to its speedy and sleek style.
-Flair Birds. Between 1964 and 1966. The T Birds at this time were designed with less speed, but more “flair.”
-Glamour Birds. Between 1967 and 1969. These T Birds are the easiest to locate and are named such because they were built more luxuriously, and the convertible top disappeared.

There is some speculation as to the original source of the name, Thunderbird. Some say the Ford Thunderbird was named for a Native American mythological creature, and there’s another, less exotic story about the classic car being named for upscale housing tract in California called Thunderbird Heights.

If you are searching for one of the Thunderbird classic cars, you will be in good company, as there are loyal owners and enthusiasts all over the globe, and reaching them is just a phone call, or mouse click away.

Are you an investor looking for ways to make your money make more money, have you considered investing in classic cars, the classic American and classic British cars are a good choice for you, if you spend some time, and do some research you could very well be pleasantly surprised at what you find, a lot of these cars are now worth ten or more times there original value, you’ve just got to think, how many investments you know of can do that.

Back in the day a HEMI 1970 CUDA sold for around $3164 and today you could not touch one of these cars for less then $150,000, and that would be an extremely good buy, I recently seen one sell for $1,500,000 at auction, and this is not uncommon for this type of muscle car, not to long ago I was out reading up on pricing of these car, and I ran in to a 1969 ZL1 camaro that had just sold for $880,000 at auction, this car from the factory went for around $7,000 when it was new.

While these were very special cars that the factories didn’t build a lot of, if you do some research you’ll find that there are still some good investments to be found in the automotive world, if you have some money to start with, you can do very well with these cars; I could go on for about a hundred years with a list of American and British cars to invest in, but I’ll just keep things short and to the point.

If you haven’t looked in to this; you may think that I’m just up in the night, or you might even want some of what I’ve been smoking; I have done a lot of research on these old cars, and I’m here to tell you, I am not up in the night, I have spent most of my life studying these cars, and during my studying I learn certain things, and in a lot of cases things even make me go HHHMM what is going on around here, how could this be.

I haven’t only seen this type of thing one or maybe two times, I have seen it over and over again, if your an investor and you have an interest in cars, it just might be the right time to start throwing some of your cash at the classic car industry, or at least look in to it a bit more, if you have a favorite car, or favorite manufacture; do some research on the car or manufacture that you love, chances are that there was some special version of you favorite car built, and that would peak your interest HUH?

For most of us, a car audio system is nothing more than a device that plays our favorite music. However, our car audio systems are complex mechanisms. They consist of several small units. One unit of a good car audio system is the equalizer. It would be interesting to know more about the equalizer in a car audio system.

Understanding the Equalizer

A car audio equalizer can be defined as a high fidelity audio control. The equalizer enables the user to control different frequency bands in an audio system. The user can also see graphically or digitally (depending on the equalizer design) these sound frequencies with the help of the equalizer.

A regular car audio equalizer includes several audio filters or amplifiers. Each audio filter is centered on a particular frequency in the audio range.

The user can then decide which frequencies need to be boosted and which need to be turned down. This requires a level of skill. But you can try it out and see what works and what doesn’t.

Now, that you can tweak the frequencies to change the sound doesn’t mean you should do that with every CD you insert. This should actually be done only when you’re setting up, upgrading or tuning/retuning your car audio system.

It is always good to have an equalizer for your car audio system for several reasons. The most important advantage is a great improvement in sound quality. The audio quality is enhanced.

There are several types of equalizers. Most equalizers include both high and low pass filters for all inputs. However, whichever you choose will make a difference in your car audio system if used correctly.

If you don’t know how to use it and are not patient enough to learn or willing to get a professional, then you’d better leave it off. You can actually mess up your car audio if you don’t do it right.
